Month 2 - week 1

I began Month 2 on Saturday May 3rd, though I didn't start as strict as I would have liked.  I had a few roller derby events to attend and a Pampered Chef show, so I didn't stick to my schedule and meal plan as usual.

After the weekend passed, and I was back up to 232, I decided to attempt my first 2 day cleanse.  The first day wasn't as difficult as I had thought.  I was busy and the day seemed to pass easily.  I didn't feel anxious, hangry or any of those other "hungry and temperamental"  feelings that I had experienced in the past.  I was very nervous about day two however.  Again, I felt some hunger during day 2, but nothing that was terrible.  I was very tired by the end of day two and allowed myself an early evening.

I awoke after my 2 day cleanse at 226.5....that was well worth it!

I have kept to a routine so far this week, I have been walking, bike riding and to roller derby practice, but I seem to be staying in the 227.5-226 range.  Maybe month 2 I will only lose during cleanse periods??  I am really hoping to get to 215 by June 5 (before I leave for my family vacation)

At the end of week 1 I was at 228...just couldn't seem to stay at 226 or lose...it was a struggle and I feel some PMS coming on....maybe I was "PMS" eating more than I thought and I hope week 2 goes better.

Day 30 - Results and Getting those Goals

Day 30 - was honestly a blur!  My bestmate was visiting and I know I was cheating a bit, even though I was trying really hard not to.

Hey, I awoke at 231...ok...going to get under 230 this month yet, even after drinks last night.

Enjoyed my Ionix and natural accelerator.

My bestmate and I went on a search for Bagels with Lox for breakfast.  I figured out I could eat half a bagel and be in the same calories as my shake and so I indulged :)

For lunch we went out for some Indian Chicken Curry (sorry no photo) we were dining with a Dr. and her husband and I didn't feel it was appropriate....however it was delicious!

I drank water all afternoon and took my natural accelerator.

For supper I made Caprese and Thai Peanut Tofu with veggies ( my best mate is a flexitarian - mostly vegetarian with some meat indulgences once in awhile )

After supper I took my best mate to roller derby practice with me to burn off our calories!

But then after practice we went out for some drinks.....lord help me get my goal !

Day 29 - almost done with 30 and feeling fine!

Day 29:

Awoke at 232 today....so close to 230 and yet so far.

I actually hit the scale and went back to bed for awhile.  At 9 am I awoke and drank 8 oz of water and then 1 serving of Ionix Supreme.

I showered and got ready to go and then had 1/2 of an Oatmeal IsaLean Bar, with 2 cups water and a natural accelorator.

I ran errands and did some work from home.

At 1:30 pm I had a strawberry shortcake shake ( French Vanilla Isalean shake, strawberries and 1/4 of shredded angel food cake )  .....yummy!!!!

I have to say that I feel pretty fabulous and my skin is glowing!!

I continued to drink water all day and preparing to pick up my best mate from the airport in Sioux Falls.

Water and natural accelerator in the afternoon and preparing a Mediterranean chicken salad for supper...and catching up on blogging was my afternoon.

I ran some errands in Sioux Falls before I arrived to the airport.  By random chance, I decided to try on some jeans in Lane Bryant to see if the size 16 fit ( as I thought the stretchier dress slacks may have been a fluke)...but they fit :) I just wasn't willing to spend $70 on them.  So just before I left the mall I stopped in Macy's...not sure why.  But they had some size16 jeans on clearance.  I tried them on (no curvy fit or anything special) and they fit!!  In an ecstatic fit of joy I bought them and a new size XL dress shirt :)

I picked up my best mate from the airport just before 10pm.  We got back to my place just after 11pm and decided to go out for  MIDNIGHT MARGARITAS to celebrate his arrival.  I changed into my new clothes and away we went!

Day 28 - The final stretch

Day 28:

Awoke after a wonderful wedding weekend full of splurges at 232.5.  I had my Ionix supreme and water.  I ate 1/2 an IsaLean bar for breakfast with my natural accelerator and due to the cold and rain...or all the splurgy foods, I was sluggish!!!

I finally made myself get up and go for a run! And man did I need it!

I felt much better after my run!  A girlfriend called me and asked if I wanted to do lunch so I did....I haven't really done the eat lunch and not supper thing, but I figured it was worth a shot.

For lunch I enjoyed and amazing Greek Salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, greek dressing, feta cheese and gyro meat) from George's Pizza.  AMAZING!!!
I ate everything except the pita.
In the afternoon I drank water and had my 2nd natural accelerator.  I continued to do my work throughout the afternoon and drink water.

For supper, I had planned to enjoy a shake, however I made a special dessert for the family and so I had that and water for supper.

Angel Food cake, fat free cool whip and strawberries...actually lower calorie than a shake, but more fat!

Later in the evening I enjoyed some herbal tea and had 2 Isaflush before bed.

Days 25, 26, 27 - Wedding Weekend

Day 25 - Friday

I awoke back at 231!  YAY :)

I knew I had a hard few days in front of me with a big traveling/wedding weekend.  I started the day with my Ionix Supreme and water.  And later enjoyed a chocolate shake and natural accelerator.

My sons and I went 3 miles...I jogged/walked and they rode bikes!!  It was fun.

I had an IsaLean Shake for lunch and prepared all our packing needs for the day as we needed to be on the road at a certain time.  Along with all our clothes and toiletries, I had a bag of Isagenix.

I drank water and had an IsaDelight chocolate on the road.

We then arrived to the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner.  For dinner I had the raspberry pecan glazed chicken breast with green beans and a side salad.  I gave my son my dinner roll and ate 1/3 of his turtle cheesecake with a small glass of red wine.  SPLURGE!!!

Later that evening I drank a Coors Light with my sister in law and then had a ton of water and 2 isaflush before bed.

Day 26 - Wedding Day!

I didn't get to weigh myself and maybe that was a good thing :)  I had my Ionix Supreme and water.

I enjoyed a great Orange Creamsicle shake for breakfast (French vanilla shake, 1/2 packet of want more energy and 6 almonds) and my natural accelerator.

My sister in law has an amazing blender!!!
I packed a few snacks and an IsaLean bar for lunch and off I went.  My husband and daughter were in the wedding and had to be there early.  My boys stayed with my sister in law and came to the wedding with her.

My daughter and I enjoyed the company of the bridesmaids in the morning where I was treated to a Mimosa....oh crud :)

My daughter had breakfast pizza and snacks in the morning and then got her hair done.  I drank lots of water and just tried to keep up with her all day.

At lunch I made her a small ham and cheese sandwich with some chips (provided by the bride) and I enjoyed my IsaLean bar and water.  I did have a small chunk of cheese too. I had my 2nd natural accelerator in the afternoon.

Once the ceremony was over, there was a 2 hour gap until the reception.  I took the kids for ice cream and then a car ride (hoping my daughter would nap) and then we hiked to a Missouri River Lookout point in Nebraska :)  Exercise!!!

When we returned to the reception, we all shared some chips and salsa.  My sister in law brought me a Bacardi Limon with soda water and we relaxed.  For dinner we had pasta salad, pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, some cheesy potatos and salad.   I tried to keep my intake in check and actually didn't even eat a cupcake....that is ridiculous!!!  I love cupcakes!

All in all we had a great time.  I danced with the kids for an hour or so before our daughter hit the end of her patience for the day and we made the 2 hour car ride home.

Our family after the wedding

Day 27 -

I awoke scared to get on the scale......232, well hey that wasn't too bad!

I enjoyed my Ionix in the morning (hot like tea) and some water.  Later I made a shake and had my natural accelerator as my children ate oatmeal.

For lunch we splurged as a family...ordering from Pizza Hut :)

I had 2 slices of thin crust Meat Lovers Pizza and water.....oh god I love pizza!

It was cold and rainy so we didn't get any exercise in really.  We had to make a drive in the evening and I packed some SNACKS! and an IsaDelight Chocolate.  However I splurged again on a few buffalo chicken wings...ugh.. I need to stop this!!

I drank tons of water and had my tea and isaflush before bed.

Day 24: Last full cleanse day of the first 30 day cycle

Day 24:

So I awoke today at 233...going in the right direction :)  Still disappointing that I was 231 after my last cleanse day and I had really hoped to be in the 220's by now.

I checked my blood work results this morning and it seems everything is okay :)  The Isagenix nutrients have made a difference in my Vitamin intake and that is great!

I enjoyed a dose of Cleanse for life this morning right away with my natural accelerator.   After about an hour, I enjoyed my Ionix Supreme.

I went for a nice run again :)  and returned home for another dose of cleanse for life.

For lunch I enjoyed an IsaDelight chocolate and more water, along with my natural accelerator.

In the afternoon I went window shopping and tried on a few dresses...I still can't believe I fit into a size 16!

I enjoyed another serving of Cleanse for Life in the afternoon and then packed an IsaDelight Chocolate, 2 SNACKS! and another serving of Cleanse for life for a car trip.  I had 5 bottles of water also packed.  I found it was easier to not be hungry when I was driving :)

I did enjoy all the items I packed.  Upon returning home I had my herbal tea and 2 Isaflush before bed.

Day 23: An odd mix of defeat and success

Day 23:

I awoke today at 234.5  ....bloody freakin hell!!!  This is what a beer will do to my body....I despise the notion that I can't enjoy one thing I truly love without this happening!!!  I was feeling defeated for sure.

I had a Dr. appt today and had to have some blood drawn, so I chose to fast for the morning.  I had 1 daily cleanse and lots of water.   I then went for my day 3 run from Couch to 5k.   I was so mad, I just wanted to get out there and do something.

I enjoyed another Cleanse later in the morning after my appointment and then packed a few snack and water for a quick trip to Sioux Falls to run some errands.  I had a friend ride with me who was very much against "shake" diets and we talked a bit about it.   I enjoyed an IsaDelight chocolate just after noon and continued on our way.

While in Sioux Falls we stopped in Lane Bryant, she wanted to see if there was anything she like on the 60% off sale.  I found a few things as well and tried them on, I was being daring.  I had just gotten rid of all my dress slacks that were 20/22 as they were too big.  I tried on an 18...fit, but seemed slightly big???  I slowly reached for a 16 and told my friend that I just wanted to gauge where I was and how far I had left to go.

~See I have only really discussed my weight goals....but in my mind that weight would put me back in a 14/16...a size I remember feeling good about myself at.

I slipped on the 16s and they hugged and moved with my curves like they were made for me exclusively!!  I actually shed a small tear of joy!!  I feel so far from my ultimate goal, just here I am already able to wear some pants so much closer to my end game :)

Yep, I bought them!!

After finishing our errands, my friend asked very nicely if she could go to Taco Bell, because she loves it and doesn't get it often.  I used to love it too, so I said yes.  I enjoyed a chicken fresca softshell (140 calories)....fresca means no dairy products on the taco, ie; sour cream or shredded cheese.  It was good and I definitely felt like I was cheating big time especially after my not happy scale time this morning.

I continued to drink water and had my natural accelerator on time.  Later in the evening I had some ham and peas with a small bun and a dab of butter.  (under 400 calories) and then off to a hard roller derby practice that left my calories way below.

I had water, a daily cleanse dose and 2 isaflush before bed.

Day 22: The beginning of week 4 and into the end of my first 30 days

Day 22:  I awoke at 232.5...UGH!

I enjoyed my Ionix and water.  Then later a chocolate and banana shake with my natural accelerator.

I went for a morning jog...making my fasted mile to date according to my Nike running app :)  NICE!  That was a good feeling.  I did my HIIT and then ran a  few errands.

I did some Pampered Chef work and then had a chocolate and blackberry shake for lunch with some more water.

I am looking at my goals....My goal at the beginning of 2014 was to hit 235 by our friend's wedding on April 26th (this Saturday)....and I have made and passed that goal !  I feel like I have more energy and drive.  I still really want to hit 225 by the end of month 1 and am already planning my plan of attack for month two.  The body can only be tricked for so long and to keep the metabolism on edge, you have to change it up...so next month I am considering 2 day cleanses or just cleansing 2 days a week....we will see how it goes.

I had more water and a natural accelerator around 3pm and then started prepping supper.  Tonight would be turkey quinoa meatballs, with pesto hummus and marinara sauce on wheat wraps :)

2 wraps under 500 calories

After an amazing dinner, I couldn't seem to talk my husband into going for a walk with me and I guess I was a little sulky.  I had to run a quick errand for a friend and while I was out stopped by the local brew house to try their latest beer.....they make limited amounts and sometimes only 1 batch of something and because I love craft brews I just couldn't help myself.

Sanderson Gardens Strawberry Wheat Ale 2014

I came home and enjoyed water, herbal tea and my IsaFlush before bed.

Day 21 - the end of week 3

Day 21:

I awoke at 233 and was in shock!  I have been working out vigorously and my calories have been negative in my calorie counter.  I mean, I realize I had a holiday meal and had a small amount of alcohol, but honestly...I was a tad frustrated.

I had my Ionix and water.  Later a shake, natural accelerator and water.  I started some High Intensity Interval Training with my derby teammates and made sure to get that done for the day.

In the after noon, I enjoyed an IsaLean Bar
as I had a friend over and we were working on another batch of macaroons :)

Chocolate Decadence IsaLean bar

3rd batch was a success!  We all tried one before bagging them up!

I drank lots of water and prepped for our supper meal (Baked ham, broccoli and pepper spring rolls).  In the afternoon I started my period...and then the weight gain and all made sense :)  I guess that is what I get for bloating.

Supper was amazing and was under 500 calories for 4 rolls.

We went on a family walk in the evening and had some park playing time.

I enjoyed water, herbal tea and Isaflush before bed.

Days 18, 19, 20 - Easter Weekend

Day 18:

I awoke on day 18 and ran to the scale!  I was 231!!  My new low....in fact, I can't remember the last time I was in this weight range.  I was on cloud 9 and told my partner in weight loss that I was working to hit 20 lbs lost in my first 30 days!

My daughter and I enjoying Good Friday morning shakes :)
I enjoyed my ionix and water right away and then started preparing a meal for our house guests.  My daughter and I enjoyed shakes for breakfast while I made baked egg cups for my husband and his 2 best friends.

Everyone in my home is eating healthier!
I was a bit sore from my run the previous day and decided not to run again this day due to having roller derby practice in the evening.

I spent the day planning meals for the next week and figuring out how I was going to reach 225 by the end of the month :)  I went for a nice walk to think about it.  My friend came over and we made a second batch of macaroons...of course I did eat one to make sure they were good before taking them to my derby teammates.

I enjoyed an afternoon shake and my natural accelerator and water.

For supper I enjoyed some BBQ chicken sandwiches and a nice summer pesto salad.  Because I only get to "chew" one meal a day, I have made them high quality and very tasty! I blog about some of  the recipes and techniques at www.cookingwithcakes.blogspot.com

I enjoyed a nice evening at home with my family watching Frozen for the 100th time :)   Then it was time for roller derby practice.  I enjoyed a great practice and went out and had one bacardi limon with soda water before heading home. Once home I had some herbal tea, water and isaflush before bed.

Day 19:

Today I was up a lb. to 232.  Not terribly discouraged, Risty keeps telling me it is lean muscle :)  OKAY - eye rolling exaggerated!

I had my morning Ionix and water.  Then made a quick shake, took my natural accelerator and was out the door to make a trip to Sioux Falls.  I enjoyed a morning snack of a IsaDelight Chocolate and drank plenty of water.

We returned from Sioux Falls just before lunch and I enjoyed another shake and some water for lunch.

I decided once again...though my legs were sore to take a jog.  I started my couch to 5k program up and did the Day 1 routine :)  It wasn't to bad.

I enjoyed some afternoon snacks, as I was hungry from the workout.  My daughter really wanted pizza for supper, so I caved and got a Large pizza, figuring it would be great for she and my husband to have for lunch the next day as well...and I splurged to have 1/2 a slice of Pizza Hut thin crust sausage pizza.

Later in the evening my husband and I enjoyed a meal of ceasar salad and salmon fillets :)

Again, I had herbal tea, water and IsaFlush before bed.

Day 20:  Happy Easter

On Day 20 I was back to 231 :)  Great!

The day isn't started without my Ionix Supreme and some water.   I then baked some whole wheat hot cross buns to Easter dinner with my daughter.  Once those were in the oven, I enjoyed my morning shake.

Chocolate and Blackberry shake!

I then prepped some ham and got it going in the slow cooker for the day.  We spent time at the park in the afternoon :) For lunch, I again splurged and had 1/2 a shake and 1/2 a slice of pizza....oh how I love pizza!  Due to this, my husband I and talked about trying to make cauliflower crust pizza in the future...I am excited to try this!

I didn't have any other snacks this day, but continued to drink water and take my natural accelerators on time.

For supper we had smoked ham, potatoes, gravy, green beans and hot cross buns.  I ate mostly ham and green beans.

Later that evening, I went and enjoyed a great roller derby practice.

Herbal tea, water and Isaflush before bed!

Day 17: Cleanse Day 3

I awoke on Day 17, again at 234.  I had determination to make the most of this cleanse day.  I had a lot of energy and though the morning started a little slow, it was a great day!

I started with my first Cleanse for Life drink and a natural accelerator.  I then helped get my daughter ready for daycare and dropped her off and then my husband at work.  When I returned home, I enjoyed my Ionix Supreme and some more water.   I also had a IsaDelight chocolate.

I was about to hop in the shower and get ready for the day when I suddenly had the uncontrollable feeling that I wanted to go running......I DON"T RUN!  I tried 2 years ago and pulled my MCL and wear knee braces in all sporting activities now.  But the desire and energy was there....so I suited up and went.  I ended up briskly walking for 15 minutes and then alternating running/walking every other block on the way home.  Over all I went 2 miles, running 1 mile of it!  And my pace was spectacular in comparison to old running times!  I FELT FANTASTIC!!!

I enjoyed a 2nd cleanse for life some more water and hopped in the shower.

In my mind I wanted to get into the 220's and was willing to push for it today and going forward.  I did some sit ups, squats, pushups.   And continued to stay busy throughout the day.  WATER, WATER, WATER!

I went to my daughter's Easter egg hunt at daycare and after that we went to the store to get ingredients for breakfast the next day and then hit the park for 20 minutes before going to pick up my husband.

I had my afternoon snacks and natural accelerator.  And around supper enjoyed my hot  Ionix Supreme, another Isadelight chocolate and water.

I felt really good.   I started to feel hungry toward the end of the day and enjoyed some herbal tea and my IsaFlush before bed.

Day 16 : A Day in the Kitchen

Day 16 I awoke at the same weight....okay now I am pretty sure I have hit a plateau, however I feel really good and am going to see what this week's cleanse brings me.

For people who know me... I LOVE TO COOK!  And today was a Kitchen day :)

I started my day with a serving of cleanse for life.   Then my warm Ionix Supreme and some water to start the day.

I took a quick trip to the local store to buy some ingredients I needed and when I returned home, I made a 1/2 vanilla, 1/2 chocolate strawberry shake and took my natural accelerator.

At around 10:30 am I started cooking.  First White Bean Chicken Chili that would be for supper.  Once I got that in the crock pot and ready I cleaned the kitchen and dishes.  Drank some water.  Then to start the big project.....macaroons.  This was my first attempt.  I got a lot of exercise by running around town looking for a flour sifter....why on earth aren't these anywhere to be found!!!

I drank water and slowly prepared my macaroons.  All in all, it worked.  Not perfect, but not a failure.  I did eat one when they were finished before I boxed some up for a friend's birthday.

For lunch I ate a KIND bar just to try it and as I am looking for everyday alternatives for Isagenix items if I ever decide to only buy certain products.  I drank more water and had my 2nd natural accelerator as I was buzzing about the kitchen.

I then got a wild idea to attempt my first artisan bread.  Again, not great but not a total loss.  I will be trying both recipes again next week :)

For supper I had a bowl of white bean chicken chili with a small piece of artisan bread and a macaroon for dessert.  I then went to a very intense roller derby practice.  All in all, it felt like a good day.

Day 15 - Starting week 3

Today marks the start of week 3!

I awoke at 234 and hope to keep going down.  I am a little worried about hitting a plateau and how I can handle that on this program.

I enjoyed my warm Ionix Supreme with 2 cups of water.  And then for breakfast, as chocolate, strawberry and almond shake with my natural accelerator.

As I was working from the computer this morning, I looked down and was a little shocked at how good I thought I looked.  I used to see my breasts, my stomach and my fat thighs, but today I saw breasts and slimming thighs :)

View from the top!
I didn't have a snack, but for lunch made an Orange Dreamcicle shake (vanilla shake mix and 1 serving of Want more energy).  This was amazing!  I went for a walk for over an hour and just enjoyed the day.  When I returned home, I had 2 cups of water and 1 serving of Want more energy.

For supper I enjoyed an amazing meal of Flax seed and Blue corn tortillas, with homemade hummus, greek seasoned turkey, spinach, feta and avocado!  I was in heaven and my husband loved it!

2 wraps was under 600 calories
I drank water all night, 1 cup of dandelion tea, 1 cup of my herbal tea and 2 Isaflush before bed.  I also went to bed a little early :)

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Day 14 - How much did I over indulge on the weekend?

On day 14 I awoke a little anxious about the scale, I have worked hard to reach my first goal and I don't want to go backwards.   I was pleased to see that the scale said EXACTLY the same number when I stepped on it!!!  YAY, I could live with that :)

I started my day by taking a dose of daily cleanse.  I wanted to get ready for the new week and feel fresh and not groggy from all the food.   I then enjoyed my Ionix warm ( my favorite) and some water around 9 am.   I had my first shake of the day around 10:30 am, making a 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 vanilla shake with almonds. And also took my natural accelerator.

I continued to drink water all day and run my errands around town.  I prepared my menu for the week and was excited to get started cooking!  I love cooking and really look forward to my evening meals....they are quality meals!!

I enjoyed my lunch shake around 2pm and made a chocolate strawberry shake using frozen strawberries.  Because the strawberries were frozen the shake became really thick like a Wendy's frosty....oh, but so much better and better for you! I also had another natural accelerator.

I did a little bit of walking, mostly while getting groceries as it has become cold here again.   I am a Pampered Chef consultant and also blog recipes that I make.  I am happy to use this lifestyle transition as a way to really look into the recipes I am making for healthy options.

While cooking, I enjoyed a nice dandelion and rosemary herbal tea.  For supper I made a buffalo chicken ring that was fabulous.  It serves 6, but one serving is within the 400-600 calories.  For supper I enjoyed 1 serving and 2 halves of deviled eggs.

Again, more water and my Isaflush and herbal tea before bed.

Days 11, 12 & 13 - Mini Vacation away from home

Day 11:  Today was an exciting day seeing my results! And I hope it keeps me motivated to stay on track, as I am traveling with the kids to visit my parents for the weekend.  The farm is usually a place of not caring....the beer and wine flows and the food is out of this world....so here is to staying on track!

I started the morning by getting on the scale and taking my Day 11 measurements!  234.5, down 10.5 lbs and down a total of 15.25 inches over all (4 just in my stomach)

I enjoyed my warm Ionix Supreme and 2 cups of water.  Took my daughter to daycare for the morning and then got my blogging done.  I then enjoyed a nice blueberry shake.

I am traveling just after lunch, so I need to pack all the items I need for the weekend.  I packed my Isablender and a canister of chocolate Isolean shake.  I also filled a baggy with  a few IsaDelight chocolates, want more energy and some of my herbal tea bags.  I also packed my Ionix Supreme, Natural Accelerator and IsaFlush....and a flat of water :)

I didn't have a morning snack...as I rarely feel hungry for a snack anymore.  I got ready for the trip and at noon I had a shake.   In the car I drank plenty of water and had my natural accelerator.  My kids were thankful for the small breaks from the car, as I usually only stop if they need a "potty break".

For dinner we went out to a small local restaurant, The Ranch House.  This place is known for it's ribs and I splurged!!!  I enjoyed a Bacardi Limon with soda water, Sirloin and Ribs with wild rice and a side salad.  I didn't eat even half of the rice....but I really enjoyed the meat!  I love a good steak after a cleanse day :)   I also enjoyed one very small glass of wine with my Mom at home and though I felt more full than usual, I wasn't uncomfortably stuffed.

I had my IsaFlush and herbal tea before bed and didn't' feel too bad about my splurge.

Day 12:  On day 12 I awoke to my Mom making homemade chocolate cake from scratch (for my son's birthday) and then she made homemade blueberry pancakes....though the temptation was there,  I had my Ionix supreme and water.

I had my morning shake when everyone else was eating breakfast....my first chocolate shake ever and I just used a shaker to make it.  I wasn't impressed.  I didn't like the flavor or consistency and was worried I was about to be poorly disappointed in the next week of shakes.  I did sample a few pieces of my Dad's deer sausage at breakfast to help me feel satisfied.

Again I drank lots of water (in fact I didn't drink even 1 beer at my parent's house...my son commented that this was odd ....oh kids, so perceptive sometimes)  I took my natural accelerator on time and then decided to try and enjoy a lunch meal rather than supper.   I dug into my Mom's amazing spaghetti with just a small piece of garlic toast.  In the afternoon I enjoyed a small piece of the decadent chocolate cake my Mom had made, with homemade buttercream frosting....oh gosh was it good!!!

I continued to drink water all day, took my afternoon natural accelerator and walked about the farm a bit.

At supper time I struggled.  Since I hadn't really enjoyed the chocolate shake for breakfast I let myself compromise.  I drank 1/2 a chocolate shake and ate a very small amount of left over spaghetti - keeping within my normal shake calorie amounts.

Again, my Isaflush and herbal tea for bed.  I definitely felt full from the day.

Day 13:  I awoke and made the kids breakfast as my Mom prepared for church.  Once the kids were fed I had my Ionix Supreme and water and then made a blended chocolate and 1/2 banana shake.....SO MUCH BETTER!!!  The blending and fruit made a huge difference.

I had my natural accelerator and went about the morning.  For lunch I enjoyed some of my Dad's amazing grilled burgers on garlic toasted buns, lettuce and a few deviled eggs.  I continued to drink my water and take my 2nd natural accelerator and one more small piece of cake before we left.

We were traveling in the afternoon again so it was easy to stick to my water and not snack :)  Plus I was already worried about over indulging so I was okay to not snack until I could got home for supper.  I just realized I drank tons of water and never actually ate supper, but I didn't feel hungry either....so I guess it is what it is.

I went to roller derby practice and rolled hard!!!  Came home for my herbal tea and Isaflush.  Day 14 would tell me how my actions were over the weekend.
