Day 22: The beginning of week 4 and into the end of my first 30 days

Day 22:  I awoke at 232.5...UGH!

I enjoyed my Ionix and water.  Then later a chocolate and banana shake with my natural accelerator.

I went for a morning jog...making my fasted mile to date according to my Nike running app :)  NICE!  That was a good feeling.  I did my HIIT and then ran a  few errands.

I did some Pampered Chef work and then had a chocolate and blackberry shake for lunch with some more water.

I am looking at my goals....My goal at the beginning of 2014 was to hit 235 by our friend's wedding on April 26th (this Saturday)....and I have made and passed that goal !  I feel like I have more energy and drive.  I still really want to hit 225 by the end of month 1 and am already planning my plan of attack for month two.  The body can only be tricked for so long and to keep the metabolism on edge, you have to change it up...so next month I am considering 2 day cleanses or just cleansing 2 days a week....we will see how it goes.

I had more water and a natural accelerator around 3pm and then started prepping supper.  Tonight would be turkey quinoa meatballs, with pesto hummus and marinara sauce on wheat wraps :)

2 wraps under 500 calories

After an amazing dinner, I couldn't seem to talk my husband into going for a walk with me and I guess I was a little sulky.  I had to run a quick errand for a friend and while I was out stopped by the local brew house to try their latest beer.....they make limited amounts and sometimes only 1 batch of something and because I love craft brews I just couldn't help myself.

Sanderson Gardens Strawberry Wheat Ale 2014

I came home and enjoyed water, herbal tea and my IsaFlush before bed.

Days 18, 19, 20 - Easter Weekend

Day 18:

I awoke on day 18 and ran to the scale!  I was 231!!  My new low....in fact, I can't remember the last time I was in this weight range.  I was on cloud 9 and told my partner in weight loss that I was working to hit 20 lbs lost in my first 30 days!

My daughter and I enjoying Good Friday morning shakes :)
I enjoyed my ionix and water right away and then started preparing a meal for our house guests.  My daughter and I enjoyed shakes for breakfast while I made baked egg cups for my husband and his 2 best friends.

Everyone in my home is eating healthier!
I was a bit sore from my run the previous day and decided not to run again this day due to having roller derby practice in the evening.

I spent the day planning meals for the next week and figuring out how I was going to reach 225 by the end of the month :)  I went for a nice walk to think about it.  My friend came over and we made a second batch of macaroons...of course I did eat one to make sure they were good before taking them to my derby teammates.

I enjoyed an afternoon shake and my natural accelerator and water.

For supper I enjoyed some BBQ chicken sandwiches and a nice summer pesto salad.  Because I only get to "chew" one meal a day, I have made them high quality and very tasty! I blog about some of  the recipes and techniques at www.cookingwithcakes.blogspot.com

I enjoyed a nice evening at home with my family watching Frozen for the 100th time :)   Then it was time for roller derby practice.  I enjoyed a great practice and went out and had one bacardi limon with soda water before heading home. Once home I had some herbal tea, water and isaflush before bed.

Day 19:

Today I was up a lb. to 232.  Not terribly discouraged, Risty keeps telling me it is lean muscle :)  OKAY - eye rolling exaggerated!

I had my morning Ionix and water.  Then made a quick shake, took my natural accelerator and was out the door to make a trip to Sioux Falls.  I enjoyed a morning snack of a IsaDelight Chocolate and drank plenty of water.

We returned from Sioux Falls just before lunch and I enjoyed another shake and some water for lunch.

I decided once again...though my legs were sore to take a jog.  I started my couch to 5k program up and did the Day 1 routine :)  It wasn't to bad.

I enjoyed some afternoon snacks, as I was hungry from the workout.  My daughter really wanted pizza for supper, so I caved and got a Large pizza, figuring it would be great for she and my husband to have for lunch the next day as well...and I splurged to have 1/2 a slice of Pizza Hut thin crust sausage pizza.

Later in the evening my husband and I enjoyed a meal of ceasar salad and salmon fillets :)

Again, I had herbal tea, water and IsaFlush before bed.

Day 20:  Happy Easter

On Day 20 I was back to 231 :)  Great!

The day isn't started without my Ionix Supreme and some water.   I then baked some whole wheat hot cross buns to Easter dinner with my daughter.  Once those were in the oven, I enjoyed my morning shake.

Chocolate and Blackberry shake!

I then prepped some ham and got it going in the slow cooker for the day.  We spent time at the park in the afternoon :) For lunch, I again splurged and had 1/2 a shake and 1/2 a slice of pizza....oh how I love pizza!  Due to this, my husband I and talked about trying to make cauliflower crust pizza in the future...I am excited to try this!

I didn't have any other snacks this day, but continued to drink water and take my natural accelerators on time.

For supper we had smoked ham, potatoes, gravy, green beans and hot cross buns.  I ate mostly ham and green beans.

Later that evening, I went and enjoyed a great roller derby practice.

Herbal tea, water and Isaflush before bed!

Day 15 - Starting week 3

Today marks the start of week 3!

I awoke at 234 and hope to keep going down.  I am a little worried about hitting a plateau and how I can handle that on this program.

I enjoyed my warm Ionix Supreme with 2 cups of water.  And then for breakfast, as chocolate, strawberry and almond shake with my natural accelerator.

As I was working from the computer this morning, I looked down and was a little shocked at how good I thought I looked.  I used to see my breasts, my stomach and my fat thighs, but today I saw breasts and slimming thighs :)

View from the top!
I didn't have a snack, but for lunch made an Orange Dreamcicle shake (vanilla shake mix and 1 serving of Want more energy).  This was amazing!  I went for a walk for over an hour and just enjoyed the day.  When I returned home, I had 2 cups of water and 1 serving of Want more energy.

For supper I enjoyed an amazing meal of Flax seed and Blue corn tortillas, with homemade hummus, greek seasoned turkey, spinach, feta and avocado!  I was in heaven and my husband loved it!

2 wraps was under 600 calories
I drank water all night, 1 cup of dandelion tea, 1 cup of my herbal tea and 2 Isaflush before bed.  I also went to bed a little early :)

Day 14 - How much did I over indulge on the weekend?

On day 14 I awoke a little anxious about the scale, I have worked hard to reach my first goal and I don't want to go backwards.   I was pleased to see that the scale said EXACTLY the same number when I stepped on it!!!  YAY, I could live with that :)

I started my day by taking a dose of daily cleanse.  I wanted to get ready for the new week and feel fresh and not groggy from all the food.   I then enjoyed my Ionix warm ( my favorite) and some water around 9 am.   I had my first shake of the day around 10:30 am, making a 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 vanilla shake with almonds. And also took my natural accelerator.

I continued to drink water all day and run my errands around town.  I prepared my menu for the week and was excited to get started cooking!  I love cooking and really look forward to my evening meals....they are quality meals!!

I enjoyed my lunch shake around 2pm and made a chocolate strawberry shake using frozen strawberries.  Because the strawberries were frozen the shake became really thick like a Wendy's frosty....oh, but so much better and better for you! I also had another natural accelerator.

I did a little bit of walking, mostly while getting groceries as it has become cold here again.   I am a Pampered Chef consultant and also blog recipes that I make.  I am happy to use this lifestyle transition as a way to really look into the recipes I am making for healthy options.

While cooking, I enjoyed a nice dandelion and rosemary herbal tea.  For supper I made a buffalo chicken ring that was fabulous.  It serves 6, but one serving is within the 400-600 calories.  For supper I enjoyed 1 serving and 2 halves of deviled eggs.

Again, more water and my Isaflush and herbal tea before bed.

Days 11, 12 & 13 - Mini Vacation away from home

Day 11:  Today was an exciting day seeing my results! And I hope it keeps me motivated to stay on track, as I am traveling with the kids to visit my parents for the weekend.  The farm is usually a place of not caring....the beer and wine flows and the food is out of this world....so here is to staying on track!

I started the morning by getting on the scale and taking my Day 11 measurements!  234.5, down 10.5 lbs and down a total of 15.25 inches over all (4 just in my stomach)

I enjoyed my warm Ionix Supreme and 2 cups of water.  Took my daughter to daycare for the morning and then got my blogging done.  I then enjoyed a nice blueberry shake.

I am traveling just after lunch, so I need to pack all the items I need for the weekend.  I packed my Isablender and a canister of chocolate Isolean shake.  I also filled a baggy with  a few IsaDelight chocolates, want more energy and some of my herbal tea bags.  I also packed my Ionix Supreme, Natural Accelerator and IsaFlush....and a flat of water :)

I didn't have a morning snack...as I rarely feel hungry for a snack anymore.  I got ready for the trip and at noon I had a shake.   In the car I drank plenty of water and had my natural accelerator.  My kids were thankful for the small breaks from the car, as I usually only stop if they need a "potty break".

For dinner we went out to a small local restaurant, The Ranch House.  This place is known for it's ribs and I splurged!!!  I enjoyed a Bacardi Limon with soda water, Sirloin and Ribs with wild rice and a side salad.  I didn't eat even half of the rice....but I really enjoyed the meat!  I love a good steak after a cleanse day :)   I also enjoyed one very small glass of wine with my Mom at home and though I felt more full than usual, I wasn't uncomfortably stuffed.

I had my IsaFlush and herbal tea before bed and didn't' feel too bad about my splurge.

Day 12:  On day 12 I awoke to my Mom making homemade chocolate cake from scratch (for my son's birthday) and then she made homemade blueberry pancakes....though the temptation was there,  I had my Ionix supreme and water.

I had my morning shake when everyone else was eating breakfast....my first chocolate shake ever and I just used a shaker to make it.  I wasn't impressed.  I didn't like the flavor or consistency and was worried I was about to be poorly disappointed in the next week of shakes.  I did sample a few pieces of my Dad's deer sausage at breakfast to help me feel satisfied.

Again I drank lots of water (in fact I didn't drink even 1 beer at my parent's house...my son commented that this was odd ....oh kids, so perceptive sometimes)  I took my natural accelerator on time and then decided to try and enjoy a lunch meal rather than supper.   I dug into my Mom's amazing spaghetti with just a small piece of garlic toast.  In the afternoon I enjoyed a small piece of the decadent chocolate cake my Mom had made, with homemade buttercream frosting....oh gosh was it good!!!

I continued to drink water all day, took my afternoon natural accelerator and walked about the farm a bit.

At supper time I struggled.  Since I hadn't really enjoyed the chocolate shake for breakfast I let myself compromise.  I drank 1/2 a chocolate shake and ate a very small amount of left over spaghetti - keeping within my normal shake calorie amounts.

Again, my Isaflush and herbal tea for bed.  I definitely felt full from the day.

Day 13:  I awoke and made the kids breakfast as my Mom prepared for church.  Once the kids were fed I had my Ionix Supreme and water and then made a blended chocolate and 1/2 banana shake.....SO MUCH BETTER!!!  The blending and fruit made a huge difference.

I had my natural accelerator and went about the morning.  For lunch I enjoyed some of my Dad's amazing grilled burgers on garlic toasted buns, lettuce and a few deviled eggs.  I continued to drink my water and take my 2nd natural accelerator and one more small piece of cake before we left.

We were traveling in the afternoon again so it was easy to stick to my water and not snack :)  Plus I was already worried about over indulging so I was okay to not snack until I could got home for supper.  I just realized I drank tons of water and never actually ate supper, but I didn't feel hungry either....so I guess it is what it is.

I went to roller derby practice and rolled hard!!!  Came home for my herbal tea and Isaflush.  Day 14 would tell me how my actions were over the weekend.
